Overview

The Linferion Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, that was founded
in 2000 and has been providing educational services for youth for over 10
years. The Linferion has helped thousands of low income youth (families)
meet their educational and lifelong goal
s.
What We Do         

We help low to moderate income youth (families), obtain and/or maintain
self-sufficiency through application of our proven success formula: Education +
Planning + Action(Implementation) = Success. We
Educate our clients in their
desired field. We help each client create a detailed
Achievement Plan. Then
we assist each client with
Implementing their Achievement Plans.

  • Food Drive, Oct 3 - Dec. 20 , 2011
    We are currently collecting food for local needy families. Please join us by
    donating nonperishable items. Contact us for local drop-off locations.
    BOOK IT! motivates children to read by rewarding their reading
    accomplishments with praise, recognition and pizza.  BOOK IT! is also
    simple for teachers and/or parents to use and it's flexible. Enroll now while

  • Financial Literacy October 3 - April 30, 2012
             In today's economy financial literacy is essential. Join us as we journey
          
   through earning money, checking & savings accounts, credit card basics
          
   and management. Special focus will be given to budgeting and personal
          
   finance. Also learn how to make your money work for you, while
          
   avoiding pitfalls. Click here to enroll.
  • Recycling Program October 3 - May 25, 2012
    Get excited about recycling!!!  We are currently working will several schools  
    & community organizations on recycling programs. All recyclables will be
    collected and tracked weekly. Groups with the largest volumes of  
    recyclables will receive an end of the  
             year party. Click here to enroll.
    The Ohio Benefit Bank is a free web based program which is used to  
    benefits offered include Food, Cash, Childcare and Medical Assistance,  
    WIC and HEAP . Starting this fall all disabled & elderly persons will  
    receive   in-home assistance. Call for an appointment and remember to  
    bring your  required documents.

  • Job Leads
    By popular demand,  job leads will be posted on our website to assist
    many job seekers with their search. Leads will be posted throughout the
    month and will contain contact information, if available. Stay tuned for more
    information, January 2012
  • Art Enrichment & Appreciation Program
    This program was developed with the "artist in all of us" in mind. It
    enhances current drawing abilities with the introduction of new tools and
    techniques. It also takes you on a trip through time of famous artists like
    Van Gogh and Da Vinci. The program culminates with a cultural tribute and
    trip. Take this journey with us, January 2012.
  • Free Tax Preparation Training
    Join us as we assist you in preparing and electronically filing your 2011
    Federal and State Taxes. All you need is general computer knowledge and
    a willingness to learn. All you need bring are your W-2's, Interest
    statements, 1099's, last year's AGI (adjusted gross income) and
    pin/password. Upon your Tax completion and submission, you will be
    provided with a copy for your records. Enrollment begins Mid-December
    2011. Classes begin January 2012.
  • Fitness & Nutrition and First Aid Programs
             This program is designed for youth who want to make a difference in their
         
    lives and/or lives of others. Get fit, stay healthy all while having fun. Become
         
    trained to respond in emergencies. February 2012
  • Youth Leadership Program
    This program was created by Toastmasters International and is designed
    to develop and improve public speaking & leadership skills in youth. Upon
    completion of the exciting ten week program, participants will be able to
    prepare & present speeches, conduct meetings, listen effectively and
    positively evaluate what they've heard.  February 2012
