Company Insight

The Linferion Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 2000. We have been providing educational services for youth (families) for over 12 years. We have helped thousands of low to moderate income youth (families) meet their educational and lifelong goals via completion of our learn-by-doing programs.

What We Do
Our primary mission is to help low to moderate income youth (families), obtain and/or maintain self-sufficiency through application of tools learned in our educational programs & by providing a bridge of assistance when they need it most.

Identify Counterfeit Money

Aug 4 & Aug 9 (Mo & Sa)
Have you ever wondered what counterfeit bills look like? Do you want to learn how to not become a victim of a counterfeiting scheme? Join us as we help you identify counterfeit money, provide and teach you how to not become a victim. Enrollment begins August 1, 2014.

Self Defense Youth

Aug 5 & 7, Aug 12 & 14 (Tu & Th)
Are you tired of being bullied? Do you want to greatly reduce your chances of ever being bullied again? Join us, as we teach you strategies and techniques guaranteed to get any bullies attention and stop them in their tracks. Enrollment begins August 1, 2014.

Intro to Computer 3

Aug 11 -15 (Mo, We, Fr)
Are you knowledgeable of basic computer hardware & software? Are you proficient in using the Internet? Join us in Office Suite, Word Excel & PowerPoint and take your knowledge to the next level. Enrollment begins August 1, 2014.

Notary Test Preparation

August 8, August 10 (Fr & Su)
Do you want to become a Notary? Do you need help getting started? Join us as we not only review potential topics on the test and help you get certified. Enrollment begins August 1, 2014.


Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School begins June 16, 2014. Check local churches in your area for specific info.

Free Summer Lunch Program (Breakfast)
Program serves youth 2-18 yrs & 19-21 who are developmentally disabled Click here for meal locations.

Summer (Crisis) HEAP Program
Begins July 1. Program serves clients over 60+ years old and persons with medical conditions aggregated by heat. Click here for a local listings in your area.

Goal Setting & Success Planning

Are you tired of your plans failing and want a change? Are you willing to follow a proven step-by-step process that ensures success? Join us one (1) of the next four (4) F/S's starting Sept 27. We will not only teach you the elements of success planing & how to plan for success but we'll also give you multiple opportunities to practice your newly acquired skills in class.

Financial Literacy

In today's economy financial literacy is essential. Join us M/W/F starting Oct 14 as we journey through earning money, budgeting, checking & savings accounts, credit card basics & management and other financial tools. Special focus will be given to budgeting and personal finance. Also learn how to make your money work for you, while avoiding pitfalls.

Youth Leadership

Sept 19 - Nov 7, 2013.
Do you have dreams of being a successful leader? Do you want to learn how to get others to follow you? Join us Thursday's (Th) as your questions are answered. The Youth Leadership Program is designed to develop and improve public speaking & leadership skills in youth. Upon completion of the exciting eight week program, participants will be able to prepare & present speeches, conduct meetings, listen effectively, positively evaluate what they've heard and persuade others to follow you. Small group sessions also available.

Do you uncomfortable when trying to use computers? Has technology passed you by? Do you want to catch up? Join us F/S/S, as we get you up to speed. Learn the basics of computer terminology, types, hardware and software.

Are you tired of being Bullied? Do you want to greatly improve your chances of stopping the bullying? Join us T/Th, as we teach you techniques guaranteed to get any bullies attention and stop them in their tracks.

Art Enrichment & Appreciation

Nov 11 - Nov 27, 2013.
This program was developed with "the artist in all of us" in mind. Join us M/W as your current drawing abilities are enhanced, with the introduction of new tools and techniques. Participants will also be taken on a trip through the time of many famous artists like Van Gogh and Da Vinci. The program culminates with a cultural tribute and trip. Take the journey with us.

Do you want to land that next big job? Do you know the type of questions you'll be asked? Join us F/S for (2) exciting weekends that will prepare you to succeed and change your life. Private and small group sessions also available.

New Business Start-up

Have you dreamed of owning your own business but didn't know where to start? Can you acquire sufficient funding to finance your business? Are you willing to dedicate long hours to research, build and market your own business? If you answered yes to all of the questions above, then this class is for you. Join us M/T/W/Th as we help you complete all required documentation to start your own business in the State of Ohio. Private and small group sessions also available.

Literacy Enrichment Program

Is your 5 -8 year old child struggling in reading and getting low scores on tests and quizzes? Are you willing to work with your child to make a change? Then the Literacy Enrichment Program is for your child. The program consists (4) components (Pre-Assessment, Reading Achievement, Incentives & Post Assessments) and when followed as directed, significant results ensue.
